Communicable Disease Alert & Warning
If you are or may be pregnant, you need to contact Sub Service if you have any concerns regarding communicable diseases (Fifths Disease, Chicken Pox, Measles, Mumps, etc). It is important that you remind Sub Service if you are not wanting to go to a school with a communicable disease. Sub Service is in no way offended if you continue to remind them when you are dispatched out that you are not able to go to a certain school for that reason.

The TTOC email list provides information regarding union activities, opportunities for TTOC's, upcoming meetings, PRO-D activities for TTOC's, and other important information. Your Rights as a TTOC
TTOC's are members of the Prince George District Teachers' Association and British Columbia Teachers' Federation. All members of the PGDTA are protected by the Collective Agreement and are entitled equally to representation and assistance by the PGDTA and the BCTF. If you have any questions or concerns, you are encouraged to contact the TTOC Chair via email or phone the PGDTA Office (250-562-7214).

It further explains, clarifies, and defines information contained in Article B.2, as well as contains a "questions and answers" section.
An overview to the TTOC Vince Ready Document:
There have been significant changes to Teacher on Call (TOC) pay arising first from Vince Ready’s 2005 Recommendations and subsequent arbitration award, and then through the general increases that the parties negotiated for the agreement that is in place until June 30, 2011. This section sets out the provisions for Teacher on Call compensation that now apply in most school districts in the province...This article does not apply to uncertified Teachers on Call who are not members of the bargaining unit, and only parts of the article will apply to uncertified Teachers on Call who are members of the bargaining unit.
